Jo. This is one of the best yoga practices I've ever had. I've had a few of them (understatement). In fact, I've completed a yoga teacher 200 training. And I just learned several new things in this class. Jo. I'm so grateful. You make no assumptions and have such a gentle way of explaining each motion. The why's and the what-for's. The things that make each pose and movement meaningful and mindful and kind. This is empowering. Life-giving. Thank you!!!

I just finished class 1. (My first yoga class ever!) My favorite things: (1) Jo's kind way of being, (2) Maxwell, (3) the ease of pace and presentation (I could easily keep up and "mirror" your movements, and (4) the quote, "And yoga really isn’t about being able to stand on one leg. It’s about how nice you are to yourself when you wobble and you fall over." Priceless! Thank you, Jo, for gifting this opportunity to learn if I can enjoy yoga. So far, so good! : )

Woohoo! 🥳 well done for getting on the mat! The first one is always the hardest/scariest. So excited to have you on board 🌺🌺 (Maxwell says hi)

Thank you Jo ☺️ I really enjoyed this class and feel like it was already such a kindness to myself to make the time to do it. Favourite quote from the class “So I’ve just put a big bucket in your pelvis” 😆 gave me the giggles and helped so much understanding how to keep from tilting!

Aww that’s such a lovely way to put it, it is a kindness to yourself to make time 🥰

Ha, you’ll have to get used to the weird analogies, I have quite a few of them 😂😂

Loved the class Jo, thank you. Thoroughly enjoyed the class and your calm and gentle manner. Kindness is key to everything. My cat was looking for Maxwell so I think he will be a regular on the yoga mat!

Thank you🥰 I’m a little late starting this, but so enjoyed it today. Your voice is so soothing and it felt really nice to take time for myself. I’m hoping to make it a habit, and find the $ and justification to allow me to sign up for the on-demand library. I really appreciate you making these available.

Thank you Jo. This is proving to be an emotional journey, but I am being kind to myself. There is so much grief tied up with the events that lead to me ending the exercise routine I had in place years ago, so even watching the first class so I knew what to expect provoked an emotional release. I didn't get very far the first time I started the actual yoga, and today I progressed a little further and stopped just before Warrior one. So I am quietly celebrating the progress and the sense of calmness I get even through the tears. If it takes me a few more sessions to work through the whole class, that is fine. Building strong foundations take time.

Oh well done Karen, that’s amazing! 🥰

You should be so proud of yourself, what an incredible achievement. I feel quite emotional reading about it.

Thank you! 🤩

Thanks Jo. Being able to do the class in my own space really helps. Sharing what I have gone through isn't easy, and I have to feel safe with each individual. Such an emotional release in a classroom situation would be really unpleasant. So the opportunity to do online classes in my own safe space is really appreciated. I can't tell you how much I am grateful for this.

Thank you Jo. This class was like a morning balm. Love your way of explaining the movements, the importance of respecting your body- that we are all different in range of movements, and particularly the importance of being kind to ourselves. Looking forward to the next class. Have a lovely day 😊
