When you start with a yoga class I think the teacher probably doesn’t want to sound repetitive to people who have been in the class for a while but I really, really enjoyed your tips.
That's very true, it's difficult for teachers to manage the different experiences of the students in a regular public class. Even if they are amazing teachers.
This was one of the reasons I made the course, to stop the merry go round so people could climb on :-) xx
Just done Complete beginners #2. I love the slowness and gentleness of your teaching. Have tried some of the yoga snacks, now a half hour class feels such a treat. Have a 10 minute morning stretch most days, now planning a longer session every week. ❤️🍂🍁🦔🐿️🍄🌻😌🥰
Thank you, it's nice to come back to yoga when I haven't done any in years. My hips are really tight so this gentle easing in is really helpful and so lovely to feel the stretches again. You're a great teacher. Many thanks 😊
These first two classes feel like the perfect clear, spacious introduction to this work! Very very much needed to balance out my strength training and... life!
Great class,Jo. I'm learning something new each time after all these years! For example, I've never consciously thought about my hamstrings when doing a forward bend - felt them, of course, but not been aware of how the body is working. Loving the detail - thank you!
I just finished your 2nd class and so enjoyed watching and listening to the drizzly rain outside. I'm really enjoying the lessons, and really liking the slow pace to try to learn and re-do the basic movements. I've done smatterings of yoga classes over the years, but never stuck to it.
Thank you Jo - I’m finding it very beneficial and find that the more I practice the easier it’s becoming as a real newbie to Yoga! Week 3 here we come 😁
