I'm struggling today with anticipatory grief, as my grandad is actively dying and there's a huge amount of uncertainty but already a real sense of grief for what is already lost (he's been largely unconscious for the past month or so, following a series of strokes) and of fear about what is to come when he does pass away and how we will manage as a family. I love the reminder that in experiencing grief we are at our most beginner, and it's an ideal time to go back to basics and practice beginners mind 💜
