That's interesting, at times I am a 'swayer', from small to somewhat bigger sways, on which my late husband always used to to say: busy at sea?' 😆. Apparently I intuitively do that to calm my nervous system, never knew that...

It helps produce oxytocin too!

We naturally do it if we pick up a baby. I used to teach baby yoga and about five minutes into the class everyone in the room would start swaying.

There’s a theory it’s because we sway in the womb when our mothers walk around but I’m not sure how much weight that carries or if it even matters tbh, it just matters that it’s nice 🥰🥰🥰

Lovely thanks! I use butterfly hug quite often but loved it even more with swaying & counting breathing. Perfect at this point in the run up!
