“We are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime.”

Laura Ingalls Wilder

Hey Adventers,

Today we have a soothing nervous system regulator. This works as the hand taps provide bilateral stimulation, which just means we are alternating sensory stimuli from the left to right part of the brain, which calms us down.

Lots of relaxing activities use this, walking, tapping our knees, rubbing our arms, it’s something we naturally do when we are overwhelmed. I like to sway from side to side as I do it, but I like any opportunity to sway if I’m honest.

As always let me know how you get on,

Much Love,

Jo
