Hey Tired Yogi,
We’ve been having a glorious spell of weather here in the UK, and it feels like everyone’s out in their garden, seed bombing, or fussing over their hanging baskets.
And understandably, quite a few of you have mentioned feeling it in your back and knees. Gardening is sneaky like that—it looks gentle, but it’s basically a workout in disguise.
So I’m just swooping in to remind you: treat it like any other physical activity. Warm up a little, take breaks, and (only kind of joking here) get someone else to do the heavy lifting. And if you’re the one doing it, at least bend your knees.
Here’s a little stretch you can do before heading out, and on Monday I’ll be sending you a 10-minute lower back and leg stretch to help after kneeling. Just a little shift in the plan based on what you’ve all been telling me.
Remember: pull weeds, not muscles.
Love,
Jo

PS It’s time for this month’s playlist! Last month’s had over 300 saves—isn’t that wild? The theme this time is relax, so pop your favourite wind-down song in the comments and I’ll pull it all together for us again. Link to last months
