“Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall.”

Hey Adventers,
Today is a very special day for those of us living in the UK. It’s the winter solstice.
The shortest day of the whole year, before the world starts to move towards the sun again.
And in the dark, nature is being called to stillness. Slowing down, going to to burrow, leaves dropped and ready for reflection.
Most of us don’t live with the beat of the natural drum of seasons anymore, but even so you may be feeling it’s effects.
Let’s take a moment today to mark the cycles of life.
It’s a great time to journal, reflect or simply take a moment to accept the darkness.
In Yoga there is the mantra Sa Ta Na Ma, which means birth, life, death, rebirth.
I’ll be lighting a candle and meditating on this mantra today. Maybe you’d like to join me?
If you are not in the UK maybe look up where you are in the natural clock of your seasons and mark it in some way.
Today’s session is a shoulder stretch, and I hope you love it as much as I enjoyed making it,
Much Love,
Jo xx
